Why Hall Effect Sticks for PS4?
In original PS4 controllers, the joystick's position is determined by a potentiometer. Due to constant friction, this component wears out sooner or later, leading to the dreaded stick drift. BITRO's Hall Effect Sticks, however, determine the position using a chip and a small magnet. Since no physical contact points wear out, stick drift is technically impossible with this technology.
Compatibility and Installation
Before making a purchase, please check your controller's circuit board. These replacement joysticks are exclusively compatible with all PS4 controllers that have green potentiometers (the resistors directly next to the sticks).
- Installation requires soldering experience and appropriate equipment
- Alternatively: Ready-made circuit boards with built-in Hall sticks available
- Please note: Vibration motor cables must be securely soldered
If you are unsure or do not want to solder, we also offer ready-made circuit boards with the Hall sticks already installed and centered. However, a soldering iron is still recommended here to securely solder the vibration motor cables.

Important Note on Scope of Delivery
The product is sold individually. For a complete conversion of your PS4 controller (replacing both sticks), you will need this product twice. Invest in the longevity of your controller and enjoy precise control again without drift problems.
