With this specialized desoldering station, you can replace both stick modules within seconds. The station heats up to 400 degrees and is ready for use after approximately 3 minutes. An integrated desoldering adapter ensures that the circuit board sits stably and the stick is cleanly removed without damaging the board.

Instructions for Stick Replacement

For a successful result, please follow the steps below. Important: Before installing the Hall or TMR sticks, ensure that all pins are absolutely straight.

• Preparation: Turn on the desoldering station and let it heat up to 400 degrees (approx. 3 minutes).
• Circuit board preparation: Apply BITRO solder paste/flux sparingly to the back of the circuit board around the analog sticks.
• Insertion: Adjust the rotation of the desoldering adapter if necessary so that it sits correctly on the circuit board.
• Desoldering: Place the circuit board. The stick should be easily removable after 5-10 seconds. Do not move or lift the circuit board during this process.
• Installation: Directly insert the new stick, hold the circuit board, press down the stick, and simultaneously lift it with the circuit board.
• Cleaning: Clean the circuit board only from the back with 99% isopropyl alcohol and a toothbrush. Caution: If alcohol gets into the sticks, they may squeak.
