Desoldering Aid Analog Sticks for PS5 PS4 Xbox Controller Repair

If you suffer from stick problems like drift or inaccurate aiming, replacing the analog sticks is often the best solution. Our desoldering aid was specially developed to make this process safe and efficient for PS4, PS5, and Xbox controllers. With this tool, there's no need for a hot air gun, which significantly reduces the risk of damaging the sensitive circuit board.

Function and Assembly of the Desoldering Aid

The attachment is perfectly adapted to the pins of the analog sticks. Assembly is very simple: Insert the soldering tip of your soldering iron into the hole on the back of the copper block. Then firmly attach the attachment by screwing in the supplied screw from the side. To increase the contact surface and accelerate heating, we recommend clipping or grinding an old soldering tip before inserting it into the attachment.

Variants: Standard vs. Professional Adapter

We offer two variants to meet different requirements:

• Standard Desoldering Adapter: This variant is excellent and sufficient for end customers to safely desolder analog sticks.
• Professional Desoldering Adapter: Recommended for commercial customers and hobby modders. This features a side opening through which excess solder can be removed directly with a solder pump in just 1-2 attempts. This significantly speeds up the Hall Stick conversion – sticks can be completely replaced in about 2 minutes.

Important Notes for Success

For optimal performance, we recommend using a soldering iron with at least 80 watts to sufficiently heat the soldering tip. In combination with our 181-degree solder paste, the desoldering aid works best. This allows you to reliably desolder analog sticks in under 1 minute and quickly repair multiple controllers.

The package only includes the soldering tip/attachment desoldering aid for analog sticks on PS4 & PS5 controllers. Please note that the soldering iron and other tools are not included in the scope of delivery.
