Why Hall Effect Sticks?

In original analog sticks, the position is determined by a potentiometer. This mechanical resistance wears out sooner or later due to constant friction, leading to the dreaded stick drift. The Hall effect sticks offered here use advanced technology: a small magnet and a chip determine the stick's position contactlessly. This completely eliminates mechanical wear. You get precise control without drift problems.

Compatibility and Installation

Please note that these replacement joysticks are exclusively compatible with all Switch Pro Controllers that have green potentiometers (the resistors near the sticks). Replacement absolutely requires soldering experience and appropriate equipment. If you are unsure, we also offer pre-assembled circuit boards with the Hall sticks. These are already installed and centered, so you can simply replace the circuit board without soldering. However, a soldering iron is still recommended here to securely re-solder the cables for the vibration motors.
